I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. i like when they mention whether the fabric has stretch or not, that detail matters a lot. in the end there is no perfect shop, but some stores are clearly more consistent. if you sit in front of a screen for many hours, these small features make a difference. for daily use items i try to balance price, build quality and real user feedback. forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers.
if anyone is interested in real user experiences, i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test.

for things that i use every day, i prefer to pay a bit more if the quality is stable. at least here we can see more honest opinions and not only polished marketing content. many people do not mind waiting if they understand what is going on. cheap frames can look nice at first but bend easily or become loose after a few weeks. if the first order is a disaster, i prefer to move on and not waste time with support.
just sharing my personal feedback.
